Who we are
My England is provided by Designers Forever Ltd, United Kingdom. Designers Forever Ltd is responsible for personal information it handles in connection with the app and support enquiries.
Contact: info@designersforever.com. Please use “My England — Privacy” as the email subject.
Information handled by the app
My England lets you browse English-themed wallpapers, save favourites and save wallpaper images to your device. No account is required. The app does not transmit your wallpaper choices or favourites to us, and we do not collect personal information through normal use of the app.
The app does not include advertising, third-party usage analytics or cross-app tracking. It does not collect your location, contacts, advertising identifier or browsing history.
These statements describe the intended on-device version of My England. They must be updated if the release build includes network services, telemetry or other data collection.
On-device storage and Photos
Favourites and app preferences are stored on your device. When you choose to save a wallpaper, iOS may ask for permission to add an image to Photos. That permission is used to save the selected wallpaper, not to upload your photo library to us.
You can manage the app’s permissions in iPhone Settings. Removing the app removes its local app data, subject to any device backup or restore features you use. Images already saved to Photos remain there until you delete them separately. Apple’s device and backup services operate under Apple’s own policies.
Sharing the app
If you use Share app, My England passes its App Store link and a short message to the iOS share sheet. You choose the recipient and service. We do not receive your recipient list or the message you send. Your chosen messaging service processes the share under its own privacy policy.
Downloads and payments
Apple handles App Store downloads and payments. We do not receive your payment-card details. Apple processes information under its own privacy policy, available at https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/.
Contacting support
If you email us, we receive your email address, the message, and any attachments or information you choose to include. We use this information to respond, troubleshoot and manage related enquiries. Please do not send passwords, payment-card details or sensitive personal information.
Our lawful basis for handling support correspondence is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and maintaining the app. Where necessary to fulfil a contract with you or comply with a legal obligation, we may rely on those bases instead.
Support correspondence is handled through our support email service. Before publication, confirm the provider, where it processes information and any applicable safeguards for transfers outside the United Kingdom, and describe those arrangements here.
We keep support messages for as long as needed to resolve the enquiry and any related complaint, security issue or legal obligation. We periodically review correspondence and delete information that is no longer needed. We do not use support messages for marketing or sell them. We may disclose information when required by law or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Your rights
Where applicable under UK data-protection law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of personal information we hold, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. These rights depend on the circumstances. Contact info@designersforever.com to make a request. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity.
We cannot retrieve information stored only on your device. If you are unhappy with our handling of personal information, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/.
Children
The app does not require users to submit personal information. We do not knowingly collect children’s information through the app. If a child sends personal information to support, a parent or guardian can contact us to request its deletion, subject to any applicable legal requirements.
Security and changes
We use reasonable access controls to protect support correspondence. No electronic system is completely secure.
We will update this policy if our practices change. The published version will show its latest revision date. If a change requires additional notice or consent, we will provide it as required.
